Mission/Vision

SMYA’s mission is to teach children the fundamentals of football and the art of cheerleading while under competent leadership promote sportsmanship, teamwork, self-discipline, physical fitness, and character for use on & off the field in a fun and safe environment. Aside from teaching and promoting athleticism and good sportsmanship, the SMYA program strongly emphasizes education and preparing each participant for the next level of competition and life’s challenges.  It is also our goal to instill the will to win and the courage to accept defeat or disappointment.
