India Rush back among the points in AIFF U15 I-league

Coming on the heels of a close encounter match against IFS, the third AIFF U15 I league Maharashtra qualifier match against Kenkre FC posed a challenge for the team to get their act together.  

The game was evenly contested by both teams until the first goal by Kenkre FC, as both teams created chances to score. After taking the lead, Kenkre FC were content in keeping the possession in their half.

In the second half, India Rush SC players had to press high up the field to win the ball which again led to a couple of chances one which hit the crossbar. On the counter, Kenkre FC were able to double the lead making the score 2-0.

India Rush SC attack finally paid off, with Ridge winning a penalty after he was fouled while controlling a long ball on his chest. Captain Sujal scored from the penalty spot in the 59’ min. to close the gap.

India Rush SC dominated the play with a renewed confidence not giving Kenkre FC to able to create a single attack, while the Blue Nation player were creating multiple half chances. The pressure finally paid off, Zeeyan scored a brilliant goal in the 70’ min. from top of the box to level the score.

The last 10 minutes were tensed as both sided played for winning all 3 points at stake, but the game ended in a tie.

Tarun Shetty - Head Coach: It was a good match, the team played an improved performance to come back with a strong after trailing 2.0 to win the first point of the ongoing phase of the AIFF U 15 I-league.
